When I first started making candles, I was about 11 or 12 years old. I think I received a candle making kit for Christmas and I loved it. I was constantly making candles and giving them out as gifts. Fast forward a few (cough, cough) ahead and after starting my natural skincare company, I thought, why not make candles again?

So, my new business was launched. Little did I know how much more advanced candle making was. So, after first buying a kit and making them (and they turned out great) I decided to get a little more adventurous and start making unique candles. Let me tell you, this was a whole new learning curve. I needed to know about the different waxes, the different colorants AND the different wicks. Each wax and wick works different with what container or vessel I was using. So, needless to say, it was not as easy as throwing some wax in a pot, melting it and pouring it. There was a whole new learning curve to this.

I'm still learning but I'm having a blast doing it.
